The first thing to do is find out where the water came from. This is a very important consideration in allowing us to deal with your building. Dealing with a broken pipe is a far different process than dealing with sewage water.

Making sure your cleanup crew is using proper PPE  is very important. Even if the water appears "pretty clear" you may still need to treat it as sewage water, depending on how it entered your building. The waste water needs to be put back into a sanitary sewer line and the affected area needs to be cleaned properly.
